Main House - Room #1 is located on the ground floor, facing the peaceful Delaware Canal. It features a queen size bed and full bath with tub and shower. It is furnished in 18th and 19th century French antiques, including a charming carved 18th century armoire.

A Room #1 highlight is a French door that lead to its own private porch, which can access the main 1st and 2nd floor porches. Central air.

Main House - Room #2 is on the second floor, with a view of the Delaware Canal. It features a queen size bed and a full bath with shower. Decorated with an eclectic blend of English and French antiques, this room features random-width hardwood floors, an antique English burl chest of drawers and leather wing chair, and lovely steel engravings. A French door allows direct access to the second-floor porch, with views of the gardens and the Delaware Canal. Central air.

Main House - Room #3 is a canal-front corner room on the second floor, with a queen size bed and a full bath with shower. It has random-width hardwood floors, a sunny outlook, and an appealing blend of select antiques. Main House - Room #4 is a snug getaway on the second floor. Painted in English Hunter Green, it is decorated with English antiques, including a canopied four-poster double bed. Main House - Room #6 is an elegant haven on the second floor, painted Apple Green with white trim and furnished with lacquered English antiques. The luxurious bath features marble and brass fixtures, gilt mirror and bronze statuary. Queen size bed. Guest Rooms - Private Quarters

The newly-renovated Private Quarters is Porches' newest addition. A mid-19th century Carriage house, the cottage is set back amidst trees and bamboo in its own secluded corner. The Private Quarters, with its wisteria-draped private deck, is the perfect spot to hide away and dream.

Rooms #7 and #8 span 2 stories and can be rented together as a 2-bedroom suite. Room #7 can be rented alone, but Room #8 must be rented as part of the package.

Private Quarters Room Rates
Room #7 is based on double occupancy but can sleep up to 3 for an additional $25 charge.
It may also be attached with #8 for a maximum total of 5 people.
Room #7 - $250 weekends, double occupancy with $25 additional for one additional person. $175 Monday thru Thursday
Room #8 - $195 weekends, $125 Monday thru Thursday. Double occupancy only. Can only be rented in conjunction with Room #7.

Private Quarters - Room #7 is a 2-story unit with a bedroom and bath below and a sitting room loft above. You enter the bedroom from the large sunny wrap-around porch into a Chesapeake-inspired mariner's dream. Original blueprints of a hand-built 1940's Herreshoff sailing yacht adorn the walls. The brass and iron canopied queen bed faces a wall of glass-fronted floor-to-ceiling bookcases.

The navy blue and white decor reinforces the nautical feel of the suite. Climb the stairs to the cozy sitting room loft and curl up with a book on the queen-size daybed; tucked into a windowed alcove. Or sit back and watch your favorite shows on the flat screen TV.

Private Quarters - Room #8 adjoins Room #7 and can only be rented in conjunction with it. A private door opens to a secluded deck, where you can lounge on the Adirondeck chair in the midst of a bamboo forest. Room #8, with its antique French empire furnishings, has a king bed, marble bath and central air. See above for rates.

Guest Rooms - Gatekeeper's House

Gatekeeper's House at Porches, a beautifully restored two-story carriage house. All rooms in the Gatekeeper’s House have private entrances.

Rooms #9 and #10 are on the second floor of Gatekeeper's House, and are accessed by an exterior staircase that leads onto a large private balcony nestled in the treetops. Relax on one of the Adirondack chairs amid the greenery, and plan your Bucks County excursions.

Rooms #11 and #12 are on the ground floor, and can be opened via adjoining doors to accommodate up to 6 people (prices based on double occupancy) – perfect for wedding parties and reunions.

Breakfast is served in the rooms at Gatekeeper's House on the weekends (Saturday and Sunday), or on the porches, 8:30 to 10:00 am.
